Dear Mr Matthews,
I am writing to let you know how delighted I am with the whole experience
of dealing with Kemp sails.
Friends and business colleagues collected funds to present me with a new
suit of sails for our Snapdragon, "Tomboy" on my retirement.
Your quote whilst not the cheapest, was amongst the most competitive and
contained a cloth sample and information. I phoned you to ask about cloth
specifications and you spent a quarter of an hour telling me about sailcloth
and the construction of sails.
As a result, the order was placed with you and was confirmed and delivered
in accordance with your quotation.
With a new season ahead, I was upset to find that I had not specified runners
for the foot of the mainsail. However by telephone you reassured me that my
mistake could be quickly overcome if I could get the sail back to you.
You picked up my sail from Key West Chandlers, fitted the slides and returned
the sail for collection by my neighbour, 3 days later; having first telephoned to confirm the
sails would be ready. All at no charge.
Having now enjoyed a week of sailing on the East Coast with a new suit
of sails that perform and look so much better than the old suit and all
this in weather, which has been the best for many years. I am delighted.
Please convey my thanks to all concerned with this operation including the young
lady who spoke to me after receiving my e-mail and who collected the
sail.

We recently bought new sails from you for Pen-y-Less our Atlanta 8M.

wanted to say how delighted we are. She is like a new boat! We sailed from Brixam to Portland
the other Sunday and made the trip in 10 hours even reefed in!
The sails

Dear Rob,
Just a brief note for some positive feedback. We completed the ARC with a few disasters along the way, including
a couple of trashed Kites and general wear & tear damage but finished sixth across the line in our racing division
(29th home under sail) in 17 days and 3 hours. Not too bad considering we had 2 days becalmed and generally weak winds.
I was extremely pleased with your mainsail. It looked good, set well and did the job just fine. Thanks for a job well done. I will get back to you next time I need a sail!
